Player models look improved, but some still look strange in proportion. The grass stains look way overdone and I have never seen cleats get grass stains on them, but they do in Madden now.

Well, my cleats get stains in them when i play in real life. Dunno about real nfl players.

Most fields are artificial turf anyways.

Your cleats get grass stains? I have never seen anything but my baseball cleats get some dirt on them, but that comes off as easily as it goes on.

Like the look of the game, but is it me or does NCAA look more realistic? Madden seems to have too much colour depth boldness, while NCAA looks more photorealistic. Maybe I'm off but that's what it feels like at first blush.

I think Madden is using the lighting technique NCAA 11 used while NCAA 12 is using HDR lighting and that is probably why NCAA looks more realistic. Lighting is the key to having great graphics.

That's what I figure after posting that. Madden must not being using HDR this year.
