All I have to say is WOW. Not because Hillis was in beast mode, but because this video looked amazing. Everything looked so smooth. Animations played out nice, and it just looked natural. The new collision system looks fantastic. I did't see any warping or sliding. Everything just looks right.

I think he means that every step will be exactly the same as the last. Whenever you run in real life, your legs will not always raise 5.2 inches off the ground. One stride may equal 5.1, the other 5.99, another at 4.87, and another at 6.01. In Madden every step is the 5.1 and nothing else. Same with the hands, hips, etc.

Looking too deeply into it.

The article has nothing to do with the video and vice-versa.

Do you really think its gonna be that way in the game? They did this to show of Hillis. Why would they have him getting lit up when they are promoting him.

If the cover guy was Vick he would be throwing TD and scrambling like crazy.

Ok, gotcha, that's makes sense, but I doubt something like that is in Madden.

I don't know if it is like that, but I think thats just what he meant. They did say last year they recorded running animation up to 40 or 50 yards, so I am going to assume each step is unique unless you break off a 50+ yard run. I may be wrong, but this might just be what it would look like to see someone running in real life from the Madden camera angles. It might just look like every step is the same in real life as well.
