Not to be a downer but I found it amusing so just posting. I filtered replays for errors.

In this particular game, 4 of the 6 errors were those infamous "catcher dropping ball four" kind.

They are rampant!! I see this glitch almost every game.

Bostonbean..are u sure it will screw up current franchises? I am confused from reading all the posts. I think a sticky on this alone is warranted.

It's unfortunate that this reappeared in the game again this year after it was found and fixed in a patch last year. I hope this is patched so our catchers don't get charged for non-existent errors.

When you mean current, do you mean pre-patch franchises? If so, this has been a reocfcuring issue for most of us who started franchises pre-patch, but not all of us. I'm not risking downloading the patch to have it screw up my franchise, I play my franchise 98% of the time. I hope someone has a chance to read this.

So i been out of town and i have a pirates season goin, still cant log onto playstation network, how will i handle this patch.

Will it go right into my season?

Possibly. Its just the first time its happened in my time playing the game. Probably due to using the Mets exclusively and no one is scared o the Mets batters.

Do a search for my name in this Thread or the Immpressions one that was created (and turned out not to be such), as I have talked extensively about this as have others. There is a workaround if you start a new Franchise/RTTS with the rosters. Posted in Knight's Tip & Workarounds.

There is NO workaround for a Franchise/RTTS that was started previously and you have this problem. You can still save, but no in-game saves and no idea of if this can ever be fixed, etc. No one is 100% sure what the problem is or where it came from. I was out of town and came back, only thing I did was Rebuild PS3 and download patch and ended up with ALL files 'corupted'. Whenever I tried to save, it reacted as if I was not the original user who created these files. Yankee2441 stated he (or possible she) never Rebuilt the PS3, so I assume this something between the patch and/or the PS Network (PSN) being down or whatever happened with the security breach.

Again, you might downlaod the patch and have no problems whatsoever, as many already have. The indiviuals with this issue are in the minority. It's been almost 2 days for everyone to know the issue and I'm sure they are trying to figure it out.
