Operation Sports' Madden 2012 Mock Draft

Each year in Madden there are a number of teams that never really catch the attention of users. Whether it’s a lack of star power or a gaping hole at a key position, some teams hardly get off the team-selection page and onto the field. So with the 2011 NFL Draft set to begin Thursday, we here at Operation Sports decided to conduct a mock draft of our own to help out these bottom-feeder franchises.

With a list of the least-used teams in Madden 11 (as provided by EA Sports), TD St. Matthew-Daniel, Jayson Young, Dustin Toms and Christian McLeod became video game general managers and selected players that should help make these 12 teams more attractive to users in Madden 12.

Personally, I had the Hawks selecting Christian Ponder... he's a perfect fit for the WCO Seattle's gonna run next year.

Although, Pete Carroll wants a QB with a stronger arm... so, if not Locker, he'll probably go Mallet...

I don't see it, we have a lot of other positions in greater need and there will be better players available. With the rise of the Rams and the potential of the 49ers Pete Carrol knows he's going to need an impact player and a rookie QB usually doesn't fit that mold.

Their is no way AJ Green makes it down to pick 16 for the Jaguars.

Re: Operation Sports' Madden 2012 Mock Draft

@fahrenheit Yeah... we have a lot of needs... and QB is one of them. The Rams are contending because they have their franchise QB. And, considering that Matt Hasselbeck hasn't re-signed with the Hawks (and Charlie Whitehurst is horrible) I'd say that is a more pressing need.

As far as the other needs, we'd be hard pressed to find quality skill postition players at the #25 spot. In exception to OL/DL & QB, it becomes more of a rather weak draft at all the other positions...

Guys-

I think you need to re read the intro paragraph to this article. This is a fantasy draft with the order being determined by a list EA gave us on the least used teams online in Madden 11. The point of the draft is to make these teams more attractive for users.

This is not meant to be an ACTUAL mock draft.

Re: Operation Sports' Madden 2012 Mock Draft

even if this is a mock madden draft i wouldnt take a de for browns @ 6th or 7th every body knows madden is all about offense and browns dont have any wr's that can stretch field so id pick aj green or julio jones. put them and mccoyand hillis together more ppl would play wiith the browns then.
