I thought the tackling looked pretty good. I think the animations were slowed down to show the form tackling. If you look at the other videos of tackling they show some harder hits.

Look, at this point EA’s football engine is what it is. A few tweaks here and there—but nothing remotely groundbreaking. And sorry, but anyone who thinks the game play is going to change much at all, is well, living in a fantasy world.

If the warping, slip-sliding and suction blocks don’t bother you now—I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy the game.

At 9:27 you can see that Oregon's field wall art is still the old one. Not the black they got this past year.

I saw the same "throw the ball carrier down to the ground" tackle numerous times in this video.

Lol, I know I remember Ian doing so Mo cap for Madden 10 I think it was. I don't know if its the talent, the mo cap directing, or the way they implement it into the game, but there's a disconnect somewhere with EA's football animations. It just doesn't transfer well into gameplay. Maybe it truly is the software engines they built for this generation. Something just isn't right.

This is a really random observation, but I thought it was a good interview, I feel like every video game interview usually feels awkward and there is no real rhythm, but it was engaging to watch...I guess thats just the Journalism classes talking that I've been taking the past 4 years.

I played 07,08, and 09 religiously but got disinterested after NCAA 10...can't wait to get my hands on this again.
