I did not have any plays where it was so close there would have even been a measurement needed.

No, I don't think they're going that far in terms of editable tendencies. I just think players will play to their strengths more by default.

Re: NCAA Football 12 Preview

Every single concern I had with NCAA 11 was covered in this article. For those expecting any sort of new physics engine or overhaul of the game engine, I would probably suggest putting those hopes to rest until the release of the next gen console. It appears that EA is satisfied with the game for the most part, and is just working to refine it within the limitations of the engine.

It seems the gameplay guys had some of their concerns addressed this year with the improvements to the zone and man defense. These were huge concerns of mine last year.

I believe EA will continue to improve the game and based on what I have seen for the last two years, they are listening to the fans. I don't think we can ask for more.

NCAA 12 is living looks like it will exceed my expectations and will be a first day buy for me!

I would like to start by saying amazing article! Good job on being honest. I have two questions. How was th QB touch? Were pases still a bullet or a floater? Two did they tone down the speed boost players get when controlled by humans? I have seen players run to the line and the cover a player 30 yards down fields. Thanks in advance.

The touch a sign that says "I will give my all for Tennessee today" and that sign was in the game last year.

Yeah, that's tricky. I know the developers want to get every entrance into the game, and I'd be surprised if they didn't show Tenn. running onto the field after banging on the T, but can't say about the band. They have shown entrances with lots of people in them so I guess it's possible -- I think you have the right mindset to not get your hopes up though.

Chase,

What was your experience with running out of the shotgun and play action passes?
