I deleted all my batter walkup music and in game music from my HDD. If I reput it on my PS3 with my flash drive and back in the game will it work then?

It may work if they were in the same playlist format on the USB as they were when you added them in game.

Not sure if it assigns a separate signature every time you add them to a player or team to said playlist.

So there is basically a chance they'll never work again?

I haven't had any issues with Sounds of the Show since trying the database rebuild

Did the Database Rebuild, it took about 2 min on my 60GB Fat system. The intro stutter is gone so I guess it's a sign of progress, although it was kind of a minor thing anyways.

Haven't had time to play a game yet. I was experiencing the occasional 'hiccup' during gameplay, usually just as the pitcher delivered the ball (which sucked for hitting), or just after contact. I was seeing this 2 or 3 times per game, so I'll see if it improves.

Thanks for the info guys!

you cannot back up your playlists. You have to recreate them. So part of the info is not true

You can make custom playlists/folders on your PC, then transfer them over to the PS3, which is much more efficient and better for folder customization. And mostly what people do, especially for Sounds of The Show.

Thus you will always have that back up of said playlist. Doing it the PS3 way is too cumbersome IMO.
