EA screwed us... I would suggest that none of us buy anymore EA games from this point on, but I know that would never happen.

I am done with EA as far as 1st day buys. Never again. I got burned with NCAA 11. The game was great after the first patch and then they patched/tuned it stupid. FNC had exploits, freezes and glitches from day one, just like FNR4. At least the FNC team patched and tuned it to be better. I know the 1pko was removed and body spamming is a current epidemic online, but they are fixing it. However, I feel as soon as they release the next tuner, patch and DLC the dev team for FNC will be gone to the new company just like the Madden team and a few execs.

Saying that, the new company will give EA some comp I think. I have heard EA has put the kabosh/restraints on certain ideas that would have bade the game better for different reasons and of course the devs can't say anything. One example is the guy that left 2k for NBA Live and after one year went back to 2k because of the freedom he lost at EA. What happened? 2k11 is Sports GOTDecade so far and NBA Live/Elite is kaput.

Maybe the new company can give us a sim boxing game without all the issues.

Their empty promises and lack of communication is reason enough to turn your back on EA. Its silly to buy an EA game at launch. You are right NCAA football and FNC were bothe destroyed by the Looney Tuners and subsequent patches. Always wait 6 months before buying an EA product. The developers will have stopped tinkering with it by then and it will be cheaper. No sense in paying to be a Beta tester. A beta tester that they turn their backs on no less.

I think the new company is more on the social gaming side. I don't expect much from it, especially if it's a starter company.

As far as this game goes, and the current situation with the title update, EA really is handling this situation in an odd fashion. The initial claim was that the tuner would be up early last week. That is still in the first post on the topic. Now over a week later and as I write this the tuner is not out. So why not simply make a topic that says, "We are working on it and unfortunately we couldn't get it out last week, but we will have it out asap." Instead, people are left wondering.

I understand though that there are some things that we know not of. Perhaps the mod that told us early next week was then told to keep quiet and not to talk about it until it's out. I also understand that the percentage of people waiting on the tuner are not that many. Most people playing this game probably have no idea it's on its way, so EA may not feel the need to address the situation.

At least say something. "We've hit an unforseen snag.", or "the tuner created a new possible exploit/ramped up 1pko's to 50% of all fights", something. Silence is deafening at times, ask any married man, because during the silence you are thinking "WTHeck is about to happen next?".

Looks like the Developers finally have spoken. No real details of what will be addressed in the tuner or patch. The patch seems like it will be pretty far off. The tuner sounds like it should be out in the upcoming days or weeks.
