How sweet would it be to have college gameday?
For the first year, it actually seems possible. They're doing so much for presentation, I wouldn't be surprised. If it isn't added this year, my guess is its definitely something they're looking into for future additions of NCAA Football.

Re: NCAA Football 12 Screenshots - OS Exclusive (Taken From Camera)

Eh nothing really worth mwntioning here. Sure new equipment, and a new intro, but then again I usually skip those because for some reason the service acadamies are not important enough to actually get attention.

Get back to me when we stop talking about paint jobs and go under the hood.

I like my steak to look good, but I enjoy it more when it tastes good.

Also I would love to see a new pitch specifically for the service acadamies. I think we had a thread a couple weeks back about this.

Actually strike what I said. If this game can accuratly represent the acadamies pre-game and make the acadamies feel like the acadamies instead of generic non-AQ school C then I might be sold. If the stands are full of cadets, midshipmen and the pre game cutscene has a bunch of cadets and midshipmen on the field then I'm sold.

Sorry for leaving out Air Force, its just that Army - Navy has more tradition to it.

Helmets are the exact same color as the 4 xbox 360 buttons

I need more screens!
Come on guys!! Look at the helmets on those ESPN pics posted by catamount. They fit right in with the design and everything. They're sitting on blocks. They're dark, different sizes and are genuinely part of the picture. Now look at the Big 12 pic. The helmets are all lined up in a row, they're all the same size and look completely out of place in the pic. They are bright colors and everything else in the pic is a dark shade. Not to mention the 4 colors that are used seem like colors that would be used for 4 player coop; red, blue, yellow, and green. All the other ESPN presentation looks so authentic. I highly doubt that it's just part of the ESPN presentation.

You'd be mistaken.

The extra helmets behind them may be missing, but they are indeed generic helmets. So I motion we move on.

Edit: Also the helmets behind that group may just have not come up yet as the whole thing expands. Not sure though.

Those pics look awesome. 'Course, they're just screenshots, but they look very polished. Glad to see that EA is continuing to ramp up the game day atmosphere. Wonder if the "end of quarter" shots are just stills, or *gasp* actual video of gameplay from that quarter . . . ? If the latter, could a halftime show with highlights be in the offering??? Ah, the possibilities.

Way to early to tell what the final product will be, but tidbits like this just keep the anticipation building.

Actually, number one on my wish list this year is a total commentary overhaul. It's just gotten very stale over the years.
