No I wouldn't get upset. I would simply stop eating cheeseburgers. If they wanted my business they'd improve their product. If they don't I'd move on. I certainly would't keep throwing good money after bad if they made a product I didn't like, and I knew they made a product I didn't like. If I keep buying cheeseburgers, knowing I don't like them, then that's on me, not the cook or the chef or resturaunt.

It goes down to the how many times do you have to burn your hand before you learn. If you keep spending your money over and over and over again, on something that you don't like, that's quite simply your fault.
LOL, it'd be great if my point was clear. My point was that people who love football video games and hate Madden, whether they actually bought the product or not, still have reason to be upset because, whether they bought the game or not, they still aren't enjoying video game football. They don't like Madden, and they don't have an alternative.

I don't need to know anything about software development. It's common sense. Either EA isn't giving the development team the proper tools, or the development team has the proper tools and still can't get it done. It's one of two things, and both come down to money. The proper tools cost money, and so does a development team that can use those tools to the fullest.

I'll move on from something when I decide to. It's a hobby that I don't enjoy, because the only outlet for that hobby is of poor quality. If you like the game, why aren't you playing it instead of defending it on a forum ?

And I question whether "love" has anything to do with the simple logic presented of "if you don't like it, don't buy it". It's simple economics to me, and quite frankly a waste of your recreation time if you spend it doing something you simply don't enjoy.
Obviously he does love it if he's been complaining about for years. You're confusing the love football video games with the love of Madden. He loves football games, not Madden, and that's why he's upset. There are many people who haven't bought the game in years, but they still complain about Madden. Why you ask ? Because the hate it, and it's the only football game in town.

We feel that football video gaming has been taken away from us.

Actually, both of you will move on from this back and forth bickering right now.

The true agenda pushers become apparent right away. They just can't be taken credibly.

The people who constantly defend Madden and dismiss everyones criticisms are just as guilty of having an agenda as those that attack the game. You are no better than anyone else who posts.

Seems sometimes you guys lose sight of that fact.

Madden will be straight, those that love it and continue to play "Captain Save 'Em" for the game will continue to do so as will those that hate. Declining sales point to the fat that people are getting tired of the same rehashed product. I'm sure EA will take notice....eventually

I thought all the agenda driven crap was supposed to be taken care of as part of the cleaning up of these forums. Apparently that's not true as it's even harder to filter out all the white noise.

I'm sorry you feel that way. However, "it is what it is", and if EA doesn't present you with an option you like you ought to find another hobby that brings you more enjoyment.

The constant complaints and sensationalized vitriol that this game gets simply is very tired, and puts a damper on this whole community as a whole.

Wow I go to work for a few hours and check back and people done.lost their minds lol. Arguing about cheeseburgers and tacos and stuff.

Seriously I don't understand why people continue to buy it if they hate it so much.

Also the YouTube video, wow SUH is an absolute beast in our online franchise! I wonder if that kicker had his stats jacked upwards before that video? Most likely. People will do anything to hate.

I thought this thread was about Ian anyways?!? Good luck to ya man, hopefully you only read the 1st 5 or 6 pages of this thread cuz it gets awfuly conspiracy theory-ish after that.
Haters gonna hate but remember you are the minority. Not that you arent allowed to dislike the game, but at least make some sense..... Lol he said cheeseburgers

Funny how threads like these didn't appear until after 2005. If EA wants to shut naysayers up its entirely in their power to do so. Most games get criticized because of a lack of progression but rarely do you see a franchise get racked over the coals because it can't provide gamers with that they had over a half decade before.
