Well, we don't know if they were FIRED. But let's just say they were so it makes things interesting. And let's get a podcast on this. It's good to throw in the old podcast for times like these.

Let's all just speculate!
We need be told to speculate? lol

Best of luck in the future, Ian!

Like Ian or not, one thing he did that was great IMO was open up the line of communication with the Madden developers.

I hope whoever is next in line will continue the same communication with the community.

Maybe I'm out of place as I didn't read the entire thread but this is not shocking at all...It's obvious Madden wasn't going in the direction he'd like so getting a better and higher paying job is a no brainer.

IMO

EAsports and it's games are for online..

Their nothing but "Street Fighter"

That's exactly how I read it as well.

Re: Ian Cummings is out

Ummmm I fail to see anywhere that this is more than just speculation.

Re: Madden Creative Director, Ian Cummings is Leaving Tiburon

If this is true, which no one with any authority on the matter has confirmed, then there has to be more behind it then just money. If EA were happy with him wouldn't they match the offer ? If Ian was happy where he was wouldn't he stay or let EA try and counter the offer ?

There is a lot more to this then we know/will ever likely know

And hey, hopefully if Ian leaves it will shake the place up and they will make Madden new and exciting (wishful thinking probibly)
