looking at it from the perspective of a Browns fan, I understand, but having Hillis on the cover doesn't make much sense.

Hillis has had one good year, and the Browns didn't even make the playoffs. Peterson has been a household name for several years now.

Sometimes it doesn't come down to stats, sometimes it comes down to popularity. ie, All-Star Baseball voting.

Yup, and the story this year in MN was Favre, not Peterson. He felt invisible this year, without looking at stats, in the glare of the end of Favre's career. Unlike pro bowl voting this will be 100% fans, and they are fickle 'what have you done for me lately' bastards. That's why Rodgers has gone from pro bowl snub to the final four in this contest after going to the Super Bowl.

Oh lol, I don't think hillis deserves it by any means, but the dude is an absolute blast to watch. He plays the game how all players should play it. Peterson is great, and Vick had an excellent year (til teams learned he can't handle heavy pressure).
I think Rodgers truly deserves it, Super Bowl MVP, and he was under so much pressure following Favre in Green Bay.

You can see the effect of the pro-Hillis campaigns being waged on Facebook and ClevelandBrowns.com. More people voted in that match up than any other by 10-50k votes.

People like Cinderella's, and this is an instance where with a few clicks they can help make it happen, rather than just watching it unfold.
