NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions

I'm trying to like this game, but its hard to. Using a wheel is not even a choice for me right now. When I try to use mine I barely even have to move it at all to turn. I literally maybe have to rotate it an inch to take turns if that. That makes turning precisely very very difficult and makes running in traffic even harder. If I could just tune the sensitivity on my wheel it would be a lot better of a game, but I can't.

Also, I just did 25 laps on Daytona, was involved in 4 cautions. Maybe one was m fault, but the other three were blatant spin outs like they were police officers trying to stop my car.

Is there a way to remove the driver names from above their cars in career mode? They don't show up in a single-player race.

I'd also like to see them add Tire Wear & Fuel factor to the single-player game too.

CGR has been around for a long time and his reviews are always pretty good. He learns how to have fun with video games and always shows that. Also he doesnt sound like an 8 year old, and just because heh as fun wrecking the CPU off the road means he sucks? Its how he likes to play his game. So why do you care?

Yes, there is an option in race to turn these off. Also, if you are using PS3, you can just click in the right stick and it will turn them off.

The number editor is just the one that will show up on the mini map while racing. You actually need to add text, like when you are designing the rest of the car, and then stamp it onto your car.

I hated this game at first but I'm loving it now. Been playing online races all night. Sometimes I've had bad bad lag but the game still has a huge fun factor. I can't wait till the patches fix it all up...it's going to be an amazing game franchise. Eutechnyx did a fabulous job.
