Fielding has a minimal affect on an outfielder's ability to make assists. I pulled up Bautista's player card. He has an absolute cannon (per his rating), so I think it's just about right. He's not a Gold Glover.

awesome! thanks owl! how much will be different between the ST rosters and the Opening Day rosters? I don't really want to go through and do all of the adding to the 40man roster again in a few days if there will be a lot of changes.

Knight, couple of notes for the Red Sox roster. Catcher Mark Wagner was DFA'd to make room on the 40-man for McKenry. Pitcher Adam Mills and Bryce Cox, along with first baseman (listed as left field in the roster) Aaron Bates have been released.

As for those who could be added as their replacements, the first name that comes to mind is Junichi Tazawa. He missed last year with Tommy John surgery, but he's on the road to recovery.

Outfielder Matt Sheely could replace Aaron Bates on the Pawtucket roster.

Pitcher Kyle Fernandez could replace Bryce Cox on the Portland roster.

Okay so if I do it with the 25 man rosters, all I do is at the end of spring training add 15 players? Or do I add them before spring training for "invites" then take them back off before the regular season?
