Niether do alot of us man. Wont till tommorow night but its normal knowledge that there are 43 cars in a NASCAR race.

I know what he meant, go easy on him. In NASCAR any given weekend you may have 45 cars attempting to get into a 43-car race. So he's asking if the last 2 or 3 cars every cycle in and out. It's not "normal knowledge" that there are only 43 drivers in this particular game, so that's why he was asking.

I said nothing about cars attempting to qualify man. I simply stated that 43 cars make the field on sunday. Thats all, no harm no foul

lol glad someone understood the question. I got my answer though, the game ships with just 43

And I have a question about split screen. Is it with all 43 cars, or is it just 20 something, like with the old NASCAR games?

Then turn on the wheel as player 2 and switch your profile to that controller. Not sure if it is the same bug or not. Hopefully something that gets patched.

So I tried it and seemed to work slightly better but there is definitely something that's off. I will have to wait and see if other people have the same problem and if so they will definitely have to fix it. Thanks again for letting me know.

I checked split screen and the max opponents you can add in are 19. There looks like there is a total of 43 drivers only not counting your create a player.
