Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions

Does anyone know if the Logitech G25 is supported on the PS3 in NTG2011?
That's what I have but seeing that some wheels are apparently being questioned
now I would like to know. If not then I suppose I will get the 360 Version.

Anyone see the Auto Club race? Harvick put a awesome move on Johnson for the win. Amazing!

Has anybody used Carl Edwards, and if you have does Kyle Busch try and wreck you every chance he gets, and vise versa?

Edit: Yes it was a very nice move by Harvick.

The game fully supports the G25 in fact it was specifically tuned for the game and should work better than other wheels.

Thanks for checking that out good sir! I'm not 100% sure what that would be referring to.......the bump stops are solid and have no spring rate to them, and I would think would be represented by height only. They are also only used on the front of the car. But maybe they have found another way to represent them? They only other thing I can think of is that they are referring to spring rubbers (maybe they call them "bump rubbers" in England?) A typical full spring rubber that is full stiff is 75lbs/inch, and a soft half or quarter rubber is probably around 15 to 20. If they allow you to add and remove these bump rubbers on pit stops, then more than likely that is what we are talking about.

Yeah you can't add or remove spring rubbers during pit stops. You can adjust tire pressures, wedge, and grill tape. I have a feeling there is no bump stop setting now that I think of it. I think the bump is just dealing with the shocks and not referring to the bump stops. Again I am no Chad Knaus but that's what I think.

From what I have seen, there has been no contact between the two unless its user made...
