Madden NFL 12 Video - First Look Reveals Custom Playbooks, What Else Can You Find?

Strangely enough the only turf that looked like real turf was in the bottom right of the screen. Everything else looked like the same odd looking field

Custom playbooks and tendencies are HUGE, so I'm really happy about that. That's something I and a ton of other people have wanted for awhile now.

Also, watching those 2 field goal clips, you can see the defense comes really close to blocking both kicks. Closer than I've probably ever seen the last few years unless it was some type of a glitch. I think they might have actually touched up the special teams for the first time in....ever?

Solid trailer IMO. It's made things pretty interesting to say the least.

Why is there no ESPN integration in Madden yet? Its not an issue, i was just wondering why they havent put it in.

Funny every1 else noticed grass. My 1st thought was finally they are wearing Nike cleats this year instead of those generic Reeboks. Or did they wear them in M11. I skipped it last year because Ncaa11 was the better game. Just as I skipped Ncaa10 and bought Madden 10 because it was better. Its a simple formula really, no need to complain. haha

edit: Just googled some pics guess they did have nikes in M11

There still could be a chance it's in this year, but I doubt it.

The reason it hasn't been put in yet is because they also have a deal with NFL Network, so they'd be stepping on the other's toes I guess.

I could be wrong, but I think I see the ESPN banner that shows up at the bottom of the screen before games that shows the matchup, stadium, etc., in that shot of Heinz Field. It's a night game since you can see parking lot lights, maybe we have ESPN or MNF presentation in the game?

I know it's an incredibly simplistic view, but I don't see why they couldn't just add both. I mean, I know why they can't, but it would be cool if they could.
