Thats all that matters. Everything else is fluff. For the record, I am still waiting for custom music, and custom celebrations that was available back in 2005. For me, those are sweet options. Nothing beats getting a TD and hearing "simply the best" (edited to that exact point of the song) play from Tina Turner! That is simply awesome, and a huge upgrade to audio presentation alone. Also, will it be the same broken commentary system this year? Will players still be on ice skates as they skate and pop from one place to the next? Will we ever see custom camera options, or we be forced to use the blimp cam that seams to get farther and farther away every year? Will there ever be multi hit tackling, or will I continue to roll off players that are already engaged in a tackle animation? these are just some of the questions I think would have led to a much better teaser video. I cant help but feel once again, we got features we didn't want.....and nothing got addressed yet again!

I agree with everything you've stated here. And was trying to say this in the other thread. They could've showed a "teaser" of the important stuff.

But prepare to be lectured that this is a "teaser", and essentially be told to stfu by some of these folks.

Seriously, though, I thought the teaser was solid. There isn't much you can tell from it, but then again, it is only March. The video did what it was supposed to do.. tease

But I mean.. how can you respect a developer that gets sooo many things wrong, and don't seem to actually want to progress? I mean I know that their are trolls in this world that will hate just to hate EA. Just like there are those who live and die Madden. But there is actually a lot of very good constructive criticism from the youtube community. The Sim Standard being a very good place to start.

After much pausing and zooming in, I was finally able to see more.

-I think that overhead shot could be an intro, not a customizeable camera. Kinda like 09 had....

-I see the Titan's intro, complete with chariot, as well as a 49'ers intro, players going down the line and low-fiving.Waiting to see if all teams have specific intros or generically the same. (Like Brees' pre-game chant in 11)

- Something about the online teambuilder, although I don't care about that.

-Field goal cam looks slightly different. But I couldn't see the end if it switches to the side view.



What I need to see, obviously, is actual gameplay vids, which I know won't happen for awhile.

I also want to know if they beefed up stadium sounds, esp. the crowds. I don't want to get into a game and have it become dull and boring like years past.

I'm still not jumping onboard the hype train just yet. I need to see much, much more before I punch that ticket.

But I also know this is what a teaser is about------a tease of what's to come. I wasn't expecting much, and really didn't get much. I'll check back around late April-early May and beyond.

In the meantime, I have other games to hold my interest......(NHL comes to mind!)

they did exactly what they wanted to do....get us all riled up and get our minds wondering. Hopefully they put out a improvement. these ideas sound great cant wait for more info. will wait til then to make judgement.

That was nice, better than I thought it was going to be. I didn't expect custom playbooks though so that is a plus a definitely something I didn't expect the devs to release so early. Its one of those "back of the box" type features. Haven't had to many nice things to say about madden since 10' but, good job devs good job. Definitely a good a way to start off with releasing this teaser that was worth the watch.
