Nope, I really wasn't interested after the underwhelming surprise onside kick feature. I know they're not trying to give away all of the info at once, but come on.

And if they're going to give us tiny bits of info, I hope they do every couple of weeks instead of once a month, but oh well. Unless Madden has some drastic changes, I'm not buying the game anyway, and if I do, I'll buy it used.

Re: To EA and Madden Consumers, Madden Is a Success

This is a healthy discussion and I hope the Madden team reading this takes this as constructive criticism by fans rather than a bash fest.

I think we all see the way they market the game now is for the casual and online crowd. Look at the menu on Madden 11, the Game Modes selection to get to the Franchise mode is 2nd to last on the list! I'm not too sure but I recall reading that most of the money coming in for Madden 11 has been thru the Ultimate team purchases plus Madden store. If that is true, and is making them $$, nothing much is going to change.

Head to Head Online I don't even play because of the bad experience I have with it. I can never find a fair player who never cheeses online. But that's me. I do realize most online gamers have no problem going for it on 4th and 30 instead of punting, I guess that translates into fun for them. And if EA gets feedback that many gamers do that, they won't add a 'fair play' option to the game like they had in the previous generation.

It's March and we all say we're not going to buy the next version coming out in the late summer, but we all know when August rolls around and training camps are in full bloom, we're ALL going to be buying the next Madden game. That's where they've got us. It's like a habitual cyclical addiction that EA has marketed perfectly.

My madden is at game stop and has been for the last 3months. nuff said. We keep buying it hoping just hoping it plays some half *** decent football. I swear when 12 comes out and I see QTRS defense stopping the run I am done with madden.
