NCAA Football 12 Video, Screenshots and Blog - Visual Upgrades

Video looks good, graphics (in the stills at least) are awesome. The ball is still too big, the qb shouldnt look like a toddler trying to hold a full size ball. I will reserve the rest of my judgements until I see some gameplay/player animiations video. They can do everything in the world to this game, but until those two things are fixed it will be crap.

Yeah, the lighting does look great. Is the lighting progressive, or are they going to pull a 'Madden' and make it look pretty but it will not change? I don't like playing a football game during a 3 hour orange and pink sunset because it looks cool.

Progressive lighting adds atmosphere.

NCAA sort of had progressive lighting last year. It only progressed every quarter. As great as the new lighting is, I hope they bring back progressive lighting like we had in the first next-gen NCAA...5 years ago.

It is funny that this video talks about poly 3d grass and dreadlocks that animate back then,lol.

I will say this video does at least show actual gameplay footage, so you can truly judge the improvements for yourself. (Except animated dreads, didn;t see any footage of that)

Not for NCAA next gen games. And plus that Madden is ugly AF. Looks nothing like this college game coming out

I know...I just don't want it to go backwards. Lighting changes per quarter are better than nothing. We haven't seen progressive lighting in a EA football game since Madden 07.

Improvements to the lighting do nothing for me if the effects are stagnant.
