I have to admit I´m not convinced that I will stick to analog hitting. That I suck at it is one thing, but I think that the concept will not convince me for the long run. I don't think the Analog Hitting tutorial misses on the left and right movement. It doesn't seem to be a factor. I know from Tiger Woods Golf that my stick movement is pretty solid when it comes to making a straight down and up movement. When I make the same movement in MLB 11 sometimes the pci is on the left or on the right side, sometimes in the middle. So I have to learn when to start the stride and improve the timing when to push the stick up. But basically that`s it. If the ball is low or high, left or right it is the same motion. I find the old zone hitting much more rewarding. I have to decide if it will be a low or a high ball, inside or outside. Then I have to recognize if it is a offspeed pitch or a fastball to get the timing right. If all these things happen...swoosh..I make a good hit and I know that I have beaten the pitcher. Juts pushing a stick down and up with the right timing doesn't give me the feeling that I fully controlles the pitch. Also, with zone hitting if I wait for a certain pitch in a certain zone and the ball is aon the way I know from the start that good things will happen. Analog hitting doesn't give me this feeling as I can`t control the pci, which somestimes end up in really odd spaces, even if my timing was "perfect".

On the other hand, analog pitching convences me. I am still better with the meter pitching but I am pretty sure I will stick to the new control system.
The same with Analog fielding. Right now I make at least 2 errors every game and sometimes I just don`t know why it happens. But still I like the system and I am sure that I will learn how to controll my throws.

The rest of the game is solid as ever. I especially love the new camera angles (Cather 5!!). I never had better plate discipline (with zone hitting) than with this camera.

Game pre-ordered (with the new MLB-controller), can`t wait to start a career with the World Champions.

I forgot to mention one thing:

I've played MLB since the 2008 PS3-edition for at least 500 games. But one thing never happend before yesterday: A Rangers player hit a fast groundball between first and second base past my first basemen to the outfield. With the right fielder I threw the ball to first base and - PREMIERE - it landed in my players glove before the runner was on first base. Hilarious commentary: "How slow can you be!".

Love the new camera choices, and how you can adjust the custom ones.

I just wish there was just a bit more flexibility in how much you can move them.

I've been playing around with a hitting cam as close to a "hitters eye" view and can come close but need about another 2 feet higher and foot horizontal plane.

Hard to explain maybe I'll post a pic when I can.

My iTouch won't allow me to do a search, but search something like "community day impressions" and read through Nemesis_04's tutorial/feedback.

If you can't find it, PM me and I'll get back to you when I have more time.
