Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

Saw a nice example of gameplay several improvements all in one play. Elvis Andrus batting with CJ Wilson on 1st (drew a walk)... two strikes on me using contact swing, Lincecum gets a little too much of the plate and I hit a somewhat soft liner directly over the SS. I thought for sure it would be cut off in the gap, but it just eluded a lunging Torres and the LF was nowhere near it (DeRosa?). The ball gets to wall for an RBI triple, although Wilson barely beat the throw home while Andrus was already standing on 3rd.

Not me. I really like the rock-and-fire Analog system.

Same here. Enjoy it tons better than the meter.
For hitting----> Franchise = ZONE / RTTS= Analog

I haven't decided what I'm going to do with hitting and fielding yet. I'll probably start off with Analog on both, but may go back to Timing and Classic, respectively.

Fielding will be Legend Analog for me. Just wish I could start playing so that I can get going on settings lol

Same with me. I don't like the way they did analog pitching, but I do like the way they did batting.

I think I might.
I barely ever used it last year (went with classic), but since you can now move the pitch meter around, I will give it a shot. I want to keep my eyes at the strike zone when pitching, so if I put the meter near it it could work. If not, I'll probably use Classic again (if I decide to not use Analog Pitching, that is).
