My all-time best virtual player has to be Mark Grace on Triple Play 99. There was something about lefthanders in that game with high contact ratings that wouuld just go deep all the time. I remember Tony Gwynn being good too, but Grace was the BOMB.
thats because Mark Grace was hitting those slumpbusters
In Ken Griffey Jr baseball for the snes my friend would kill me with Sid Bream of the Atlanta Braves. He would use him to pinch hit late in the game and he would go yard almost everytime.
Bay was obviously the forget member of the famed Paste/Bay tag team. You can talk about Oko all you would like, but even if you could instigate a fight with Paste you still had to pitch to Bay. He was also an animal. They also were righty/lefty, making late inning pitching match ups a nightmare.
Paste was the best of all time. But also in the top ten I think, should be Kozo, of the Ninja Blacksox on Baseball Stars. He was like Ichiro before Ichiro was Ichiro.
