1) The rules. When a pitcher attempts a pickoff and throws it out of play, it is 1 base, not 2. Only when a fielder throws it out of play is it 2 bases. Why has this not been fixed after all these years? There are others I noticed in previous years too but I can't comment as I haven't seen them yet.

They nailed this rule, as long as you're referring to a RHP. An RHP will DISENGAGE from the rubber before release, making him a fielder, unless the throw is to 3b. An LHP as long as he is in contact with the rubber is only one base. If he steps off, then snap throws, it's 2. So in theory it depends on the pickoff animation. I haven't seen it, so I'm not saying you're wrong, just explaining the rule

3) Analog batting. What's the point? It's easier to get hits using the PCI manually than the analog batting feature. I used guess pitch to guess a low outside pitch, the pitch went there, perfect timing, and I missed. Why? the computer put the PCI in the upper right corner. basically if they are saying the PCI is more sensitive and you need to get the ball in there to hit it, manually doing it the old-school way is the way to do it because the computer moves it to the wrong spot a LOT.

The point was to add difficulty, not ease. Lower the level if it's too hard. Also, the PCI seems to be weird in pitch review anyway...as well as stride timing, so you if you're on your front foot, the PCI could be way off

Not sure if this was in last years game or not, but I just had Buster Posey hit one over the fence (which I'm sure he did last year too, but that's not the point), and the umpires ruled it a HR. But then they decided to go to the video replay, and it was overruled!

Very cool.

Oh ok. Thanks man! I wish they would've left that alone.

It's very disappointing that the game won't have detailed stats. Baseball is a stats game. The game is so good in other aspects.

Without detailed stats, without being able to see how players performed in years past, in their careers, the game isn't complete.

I will be going back to meter pitching. I don't like how they implemented the analogue controls for it.
