Fairley is an option too

http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/chat...t-nick-fairley

"Fairley is competing to become the cover athlete for EA Sports' NCAA Football '12. Fans can vote on EA Sports' Facebook page. Voting begins Thursday and runs through April 4."

Sooo the HUGE announcement is probably just opening the voting.

DeMarco Murray fans, log on to Facebook and warm up your video game console.

Murray, the erstwhile OU running back, is one of four candidates to appear on the cover of next year’s EA Sports NCAA Football ’12.

Former Alabama running back Mark Ingram, ex-Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley and recent Washington quarterback Jake Locker are the others up for the honor.

Voting begins Monday, March 7, and runs through April 4.

Fans can find the EA Sports page on Facebook and then “like” their favorite players’ page. Only one vote per day is allowed, but fans can vote every day and can also post the link or even start a Facebook group to encourage others to vote.

The winner will be announced April 19 on ESPN’s “First Take”.

Re: Vote for NCAA 12 Cover

A good old fashioned Auburn/Bama voting war.

Sounds like fun.

The other 2 have no shot.

Most likely Mark Ingram.
Surprised that Cam Newton isnt in the running. They probably don't want any negative publicity.

If the ONLY thing they added to this game was Backbreaker's EUPHORIA tackling engine it would totally make it 100% worth it. Hugely what the game is lacking.

Re: NCAA 12 Announcement coming tomorrow

The days we are allowed to make an announcement, I will personally bring that message here to OS and take as many questions as I can.
