Last year. In fact, I didn't buy the game, but just played a friends. Almost bought the game just for the graphics though. Secretly though the stadiums looked more realistic than The Shows (couldn't say that to some of my friends though ). Glad I didn't though, because after I played it a few more times all of the bugs came to the surface.

This years graphics look horrible to me. Biggest turn off so far.

That "other" game (which I do love and always buy day one) failed big time on trying to do analog this year, so it's no easy feat.

I agree, the other games analog isn't too good either, but at least it mimics real life pitching with sort of a rock n fire motion. This is just random stick movements. Plus it's too easy to hit your spots. Takes the fun out of it.

It's obvious I wont win, but that is fine. Enjoy your game. Hopefully my friend will buy it again this year (he didn't like it last year either) so i can try the final version again before making any final decisions.

I took the time to download, and play 3 games so far. I have said that the 360 version looks better in video than the PS3 version, and that my gripes are about this version.

Just because some people enjoy inferior games doesn't mean they need to get all bent out of shape and start accusing people of trolling when they give it a bad review.

Thank you very much, and have a nice evening.
And you say other people are trolling?

Wow... finally got a chance to play through this a few times... and as much as I was looking forward to playing all day, man am I feeling let down at this point. I want so badly to have two games to play, and I was pretty damn excited about 2K this year but... yeesh.

The first thing my gf and I both noticed... what happened to the graphics on PS3? I SERIOUSLY hope you guys on 360 are getting a better looking game than this, because, in my opinion, things took a step back this year on PS3... pretty damn ugly honestly, mainly due to an abundance of low res textures and jaggies EVERYwhere. Blech.

HOWEVER, I'm definitely seeing the gameplay improvements (which when all is said and done is probably what's most important, especially for those with a limited choice). Things are running VERY smooth (other than popups obviously), fielding feels MUCH better, and batting feels really, really solid. There is definitely a fun factor to 2K's brand of baseball, and it's pretty obvious they put their work in here. If commentary was in, I would be that much more immersed.

Basically... gameplay = fun, graphics = borderline ugly, and a step back. Like I said, I really hope for the 360 guys, that the game looks better. I wish 2K could figure out how to make it work across the board, but for Xbox owners that only have one choice, they certainly deserve better graphically than what I just spent time looking at on PS3.

Gameplay and presentation can overshadow a lot of that though, and luckily 2K seems to be starting to hit their stride in that department. Fix the ugliness, and some of those wonky zombie animations, and we could have a very good game on our hands.

Exactly. Never. I was accused of it, and I pointed out that I was not. You guys don't like my honest opinions, fine, but don't go accusing me of trolling. I am in here to give my opinion on the game. I have that right, last time I checked.

EDIT: Man, I am done with the demo. Plus, I don't feel like defending myself every time I don't like something. Will give the game a go in a couple of weeks (hopefully), and see what I think of the retail version, but def wont spend $60 on what I saw here.

Uhhh, what? So far, they've fixed every complaint I had from 2K10. Yeah, the graphics aren't perfect, but I'm definitely glad they focused on the gameplay first.

But if you're going to pass, that's cool. Thanks for stopping by at least

The framerate issue is only on fouls and popups for me but doesn't affect how the game plays at all, so again, for me it's not an issue but everyone is different. But it has been reported that those that have played a later build did not notice the issues the demo has.
What specific TV are you on? I bet its one with "Game Mode" built in right?
I got my 42" Panasonic Viera 1080p Plasma on sale for $799 two years ago, so that might be the price I pay for a good bargain...Disappointing to say the least
