I think I'm just the opposite. I wasn't really feeling the analog pitching...maybe it was the default cam angle. Analog fielding doesn't feel all that natural either, as it hadn't in other games. But analog batting just makes sense. I could see maybe going east-west for righties and west-east for lefties, then down for bunting instead of this scheme. I also noticed that players tracking the ball with their heads is still not complete and I'm not feeling the responsiveness of OF's. I'm also wondering that if online, pitch meters will no longer be visible to the opponent.

The camera angles can be changed

I believe the move only works in homerun derby this year. So no it's not going to work in the demo.

After playing it a few more time sit looks like the 2K games did something for me.. I'm already decent at hitting with the analog stick. It makes a little more patient too, which is good. Still working out the kinks with the back step, once I get that down I should be ripping consistently.

Even I go back to zone hitting, I know I'll keep the pitching and fielding analog, I like those a lot.

Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

Where do I begin? This was by far the most, single handedly worst baseball game I have ever played. I am ashamed of what work was put in to this piece of crap game. I'm Just playing, I actually LOVED the demo. I must say that I was someone that was not looking forward to the new analog controls. But, the analog pitching came to me pretty naturally. I still have to get a little more accustomed with my accuracy as I had 75 pitches with Lincecum though 5 innings ( I lost in extra innings). But the analog pitching adds a whole new sense of reality and fun to the show. Because in years past, throwing strikes was like counting 1-2-3. But now, you actually have to hit your spot with the analog. And if you don't you will be punished for not doing so, in my case, was a lot of balls. Which in hindsight, makes the pitch counts more realistic.

One thing that in my opinion is going a little un-noticed, is the fan reaction in the game. I loved the fact that the fans would jump on the umpire for calling a strike a ball, or vice versa. As well, when it is a high pressure situation, the fans get louder. I must say, it got my heart racing at times haha.

The batting looks much more smoother, they did a nice job re-tooling the stances to look more natural and flow in the reality of the game. Great Job!!!!!!

Commentary was ehhhhh! I mean I do not hate it as some do, but it is not noticeable. I love how in NBA 2k11 the announcers have conversations and continue on each others points as the game goes on, if they only did that in the show.

I must say, this has the potential to be the best Sports game of the year, if not ever. That's right, I said it !

Yeah, I think I'm blanking out on what Posey's stance is like for some reason. I see every part about him except his batting stance, and for some reason I felt like Ross's might be more right for him but to be honest I just don't remember.

It always takes me a few pitches to get used to a new pitcher's timing, release, etc, especially when going from a righty to a lefty.
This was in last year for relievers, I hope it is there for starters to this year and not just there in the demo
