Well, i've played 10 games now and I can clearly say I love the demo and only expect the full game to be even better. I'm in love with both the analog pitching and hitting. They did a great job with both. I was especially wary of the hitting but you still have plenty of time to react and read pitches. I actually find that i am too early on most pitches, even fastballs. I find I am pulling the ball more now which is a good thing. Seems to be easier to hit doubles this year too. I have only hit 1 HR is 10 games but I think its just a statistical anomaly as I have had 3 hit the top of the fence that could have been HR's. Still can't get a hang of analog fielding. Making 2-3 errors a game and have yet to pull off a successful double play. I can get the throw to second no problem but the throw to first is always bad (red). I will try it some more, but I am leaning towards buttons for fielding. It just feels more natural. Can't imagine ever going back to meter or button hitting though. This issue I spoke about earlier with stealing bases to easy, I think is a non issue now. In my last 2 games I got caught stealing 3 times and also picked off once. So it all evens out. Got to remember that the sample sizes are small so there will be stats that are out of whack, so you can't freak out when certain stats seem off. I think you need at least 50 demo games before you can really make any judgement about stats.

Yeah, def a big interest of mine..also the cleats drive me nuts because of the jaggieness or whatever is goin on there. Some cut scene show similar effects. Its almost as the sharpness is too high. 10 looks awesome on my tv, and this ones not as smooth..but just hopin its the demo! Otherwise its great.

Something else perhaps small and underlooked with regard to AT&T Park, I know people say they love the water and all, but why isn't it blue? It might have to do with that 2D background reflecting off of it, in which case I'd prefer they just omitted that then because it makes the water look blackish.

They could really do wonders getting the color scheme changed there (and around the entire stadium, in fact):




By the way, I'm iffy on Posey's stance at the moment IRL but isn't it closer to what Ross's stance is like in the game? I'm just trying to think of what to change it to when I get the retail version if I want something more accurate.

One thing I'm very impressed with is how the demo seems to always have the wind blowing in hard from right field. Good luck getting a shot in the water guys! Hehehe.
