No offense dude but first it's a stance...2nd it can be patched if they have the time to do so. But just to tell you they did tweak it a little, and it doesn't take 10 minutes most likely 1-2 hours since they have to look around a lot of sources (pictures, videos) and get it right

Re: MLB 11 The Show Video: St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs (Gameplay)

man they gotta work on getting the batting stances and swing animations right, one of my biggest pet peeves with the show series is the lack of accuracy when it comes to the players actual stances. Its funny we always end up using different stances for the batters in our edited rosters since we dont think they look right. Although they usually get the big guys right like Pujols, not really bad on his stance, except he swings like every other player.

Makes me look back on MVP baseball, I remember different hitters actually swing different. Was a big deal to me when Ichiro actually lifted his leg semi-correctly and ran towards first, small tough but caught my attention. I thought thats how they would do it after that even when the MVP series died, but sadly no. They even let you chose the angle the breaking balls moved. What happened?

Anyways the game looks great for what it is, a video game.

the difference here is, it is harder to make a great looking game THAT much better...all they can do is improve on small things and add new tech when it works with everything else.

much different than the "EA Treatment".....they could've started this gen with a Baseball game that was 30fps 720p...then the next year made it 720p 60fps, but stated HEY LOOK WE MADE IT 60fps now....then the next year, HEY LOOK NOW ITS 1080p....then the next year HEY LOOK something else.

there are alot of ways they could've bought themselves time to try to "justify" the yearly cost. What it seems like they did was try to make it the best possible, then take as much feed back every year to make it better...on top of adding things they have wanted add from the previous year.

I'm not saying not to criticize anything, but I hope folks take into consideration (and appreciate) the approach they took with the series, compared to other sports titles. Last thing I want next generation is the higher ups feeling they need to take a different approach because they advanced the game too fast for some fans this gen.

I'm sure every section of the team is slowly reaching what they feel is their overall goal as time goes on. The art folks have improved the game every year to eventually reach their final portrait of how a baseball game should look. I mean you could tell it was still a work in progress last year where the water was dark but the sun was still out for late afternoon games at AT&T park. I'm sure it is fixed this year.

so now with the audio team, I'm sure adding a new person to the mix was hard to do...so it will probably feel awkward here and there this year...but I'm sure the more time they have to work on it, it will have a good flow like the previous years.

Only complaint is the same as it's always been the commentary continues to be disjointed. No chemistry. No sense of playing off one another. Each says their lines independent of each other. I know that's literally how they recorded it, and scheduling conflicts probably mean it's just unfeasible to record them all in the both together, but there are workarounds.

However, we just heard a snippet of the commentary so far. It could be far superior in other areas that I just haven't heard yet.

So, I'll reserve full judgment until the game is in my hands.

Me too! Catcher's view looks far better than camera view. Not really impressed with the team camera view because it shows more of the little flaws in the game, i.e. batter's stance and pitching release point, but catcher's view hides some of these things and it make the game look better.
