The new pitcher control slider may be just what I needed. I really want to use the thumbstick control for pitching but I always found it really difficult. At least this time I can adjust it to make it challenging but not TOO easy.

curious that they consider the split change to be the most difficult movement... it didn't really seem any more difficult than a 12-6 curve based on that picture (for the record, I've always found the knuckle curve to be the most challenging... especially back in the day when you had to time the circle closing)

Yeah, I kind of kept hoping they were about to spring three step pitching back on us. I'll take what we can get.

I hope that you can still hit a decent amount of homers using contact swing. I'm still of the belief there's no use for a variety of types. It should be completely stats based.
