Speaking of MMA the judging is even worse than EA MMA. The one fight I actually managed to fully play through without turning this garbage off was a draw!? Cotto's face was complete mush (well I guess the damage modeling is pretty nice at least so it's not alllllllllll negative) and I knocked him down in the 3rd. They somehow gave the 1st and 2nd to him despite the fact he didn't do any damage and the 3rd was 10-8 for me.

This is one of the few times I'm glad I'm not a game reviewer because I'd have a helluva time coming up with words to describe how awful this game is. Don't ship it to stores, ship to Mexico next to the ET landfill.
Your exaggeration cup runneth over.

I understand you don't like the demo, but are you really comparing it to ET? This is a top candidate for Exaggeration of the Year. I, too, feel that the judges don't make any sense at times and value volume punching a lot more than they should, but hey, at least your punches don't go through your opponent like trucks go through scenery in Big Rigs Over the Road Racing.

I'm being redundant so I'm not even going to post the stats that allowed one judge to give my opponent the second round. I repeat:

EA-STOP BEING CUTE WITH THE SCORING! YOU"RE GOING TO PISS A LOT OF PEOPLE OFF!!

WE don't need you guys to recreate blind or stupid or paid off or all of the above judges. It's not necessary.

Actually we may need a judge slider.

Would you care to elaborate on why you feel this game is almost spot on???

"Spot on" is strong terminology, but this game is pretty solid, and I'm optimistic that with sliders there is no telling how good it can be.

Aiight fellaz, SOMETHIN' is up w/ the demo...it is MUCH harder to win a fight now. there's hardly any cuts...before it was a blood bath just about every fight w/ me. This demo has just turned 360° Stamina is a HUGE issue now...ya gotta check it out.

all good but too much range with back-hand uppercuts (right uppercut for orthodox) you can be out of range for a jab and get clocked with it. Things like this is why the jab to powershot ratio is off. why throw a jab in many cases? it's not as bad as UFC 2010 which made it totally irrelevant, but there are instances where you are punished throwing a jab from long range where you really shouldn't be.

I can live with it though.

I hope in retail there are many boxers looking to get in and out instead of terminator charge you. If someone is looking to get just in range for a one-two and get out it will completely change my strategy (which would be nice)
