this my friends, as long as there is a "ying to the yang" or a "left to the right" then there should be no worries from the off/online community at all.... now with that said, im sure im never gonna "normal kick" ever again lol. and praise sweet little 8lb 6oz baby Jesus for tuner sets, gotta love a game that will finnaly have unlimited tweaking capabilities, this was great (at times) for ncaa but its seams as though they were actually limited on what they felt like tuning i guess lol

One, I don't see why they wouldn't show the players emotion if the players are going to have emotion in M12. The clip was only 25 seconds, so it's not like they're going to give away too much info. It would serve as a teaser, and give us a small glimpse of how madden has changed for the better.

Two, emotion wasn't the only thing missing in the clip. Where is the awareness of the players ? Once the ball is kicked, the Giants should all swarm to the ball in an attempt to recover it. None of them showed any awareness at all . They basically let Gaither recover the ball. They have a pile up feature which was in M10. Why not have a pile up, and make us wait to see who actually recovered the ball ?

1. Who said there was going to be a big announcement?

2. The announcement wasn't onside kicks, those were already in Madden.

3 Bye.

I can't recall seeing it in regular onside kicks either, but I always thought that that play should trigger some sort of 'fight for the fumble'. That would go a ways in solving the interaction problem.

Every type of onside I've seen was clear recovery, play dead, everyone freezes.

everybody is being spoiled brats. its obvious that some ppl didnt read the blog. the madden development team told ian that he couldnt say any new feature and it was decided by an arm wrestle. ian won and he said 2 very minor new features that would still hold the suspense for features to come. were lucky that we even got news on what theyre doing. god help society

I didn't expect anything big, but the lack of emotion, the lack of awareness, and the same stiff robotic movement that has plagued Madden during this generation of consoles is discouraging.

Did you notice that the Giants players are celebrating, even though they're barely celebrating, and the Eagles players are reacting negatively even though the Eagles recovered the football ?

I'm sorry, but it looks like it's going to be more of the same.

5 months before it goes gold, that's a reasonable statement.

Isn't it possible that they've only coded the surprise kicks and haven't yet tied celebration animations to the kicks yet?
