I think the issue with the stamina right now is that it's recharging too quick. I've visually seen it take effect and watched as a guy would throw a 10 punch combo that hit nothing but air and seen his arms slow down, but to me it's seemed like it only takes a few seconds for him to regain that energy and be just as effective with his punches again.

there is nothing wrong with that though technically - if you can't throw 10 punches in round 1 as a pro, you don't belong in the ring.

Right now that's my biggest issue with the demo.
My biggest issue with FN4 was the stamina issue and I still have the same concern with the demo. 180 punches in a round should leave a fighter dead arms not being able to throw another 130 punches the next round.

What? I didn't say that. I said a 10 punch combo, not 10 punches in an entire round. I've gone against guys who throw 400-500+ punches in 3 rounds and barely show fatigue. I don't think that's what we want.

It is not what we want, not even from a demo. This is the same drama from FN4 and with all the patches the developers could never fix the stamina problem.

The more I play the demo, the more I really like and appreciate what the developers have done. Attempting to use boxing strategy really pays off.

I just finished one match online. The guy I played was pretty sim, no spammer. The judges gave him the first round, but I knocked him down twice in the second. During the beginning of the ref's count on the 2nd knockdown, he quit.

Ugh. He could've at least tried to get up the 2nd time.

If anyone wants to add me for some non-spamming action, feel free (on the 360): Flame70

this demo is broken. period.

i've played it well over 50 times and I am yet to have stunned or even knocked out ALI w/tyson (i like tyson )

but as soon as i get ALI i can win.

also, i think the points system is flawed to where i lose 28/29 every round to ALI...

EA i know you can see this. fix it please.

Clinching should matter! When fighting inside, that should turn into a clinch opportunity where the ref should break it up. Some fighters like Mayweather use clinching as a way of not letting his opponent get off. In FNC and previous versions, clinching is only to save yourself from getting KO'ed.
Phobia please e-mail this to Brizzo. Even if they can't add incidental head butts, just remove illegal shots from the game. Why are they there?

It is difficult to initiate the clinch and the A.I. doesn't do it enough. As Ali, I have trouble clinching Tyson when we are literally chest to chest. And why is the push so slow?

I also agree with everyone else about the terrible stamina. If they fix stamina it may make the clinch matter, which would also help us get more realistic punch numbers.

My first time playing the demo, I actually knocked Ali out with a flash KO in the 2nd round. Haven't beat him since though...lol
