I have one concern. Under the new XP system for online games, it said

"No longer will you receive full points for only completing a two inning game".

So if someone is a sore loser and they quit in the 2nd, I don't get as many points? This would be bad if you face random people and they quit.

What I do though, is that I only play people in leagues or people I know. I stopped playing random people and the game experience is so much better. However, it seems like people who play vs randoms get punished because of sore losers with this new XP system.

Would you agree or am I not understanding it correctly?

If these guys made a hockey game it would be incredible.
I liked a lot of the things 2k11 was adding but I don't like the feel of their games in the past. I bought the show for the first time last year. When my 360 broke I bought a ps3 because I only play sports games and they have all the same ones except the show. If 2k ever did have a better year than the show I could still get it for the ps3. After reading this it looks like they just took some of the stuff 2k was doing (authentic broadcast cams for pitcher batter). I have no problem with this I love it in fact. If they feel they might get beat somewhere they try to get better right now no matter how much time is left before the game comes out. Really looking forward to this game this year. Lots of people are saying the focus next year is offline franchise. Adding more to this is going to be so cool.

I would not agree. You have only invested two innings of time, so you aren't really getting punished if you get less points than you would have for completing a 9 inning game. If you take the term XP literally, to mean experience points, it makes perfect sense.

I could see your case if you are winning in the top of the ninth and the guy quits and you don't get full XP, but I'm thinking that won't be the case.
