Money, this is pretty much the mindset you need to have.

Regular punches take a "toll" on a fighter. They are the punches you use to SETUP your big shots. Another words don't go in throwing nothing but modified power shots. You will QUICKLY drain your stamina. Punch accuracy is tied to stamina so as you get tired more your punches miss more. So what you want to do is land those quick punch combos. Jab, jab, straight. Then out of no where when you see the opening you land the same combo but with POWER this time. Jab, jab, Power modified Straight. This will conserve energy and will also do big damage over time.

Modified punches score better in the judges eyes. (another reason people can be losing on the cards when they think they are winning. Power shots score higher) Also power shots are the shots that "stun" opponents and also "KO" opponents.

They are not punches you want to throw non-stop but ones you want to link into combos.

I have a video I am uploading today of me SLAUGHTERING a Tyson with Ali. I am hitting him with EVERYTHING, power shots, regular shots, brutal combos, etc. Tyson won't go down. So who ever said Tyson chin is to weak........I beg to differ I got video proof of his tough chin

I got stunned (and eventually knocked down) as Aluminum Mike w/ a normal jab in the first round by Ali online. No counter, no power (I know this because he didn't throw a single power shot all match, and did not land a counter either).

I then proceeded to counter him 14 times over the remaining 2.5 rounds, land 40 power shots, land 65% of my punches to 40%, and not win a single judge (neither player was stunned after the initial one).

I can live with me being stunned and not stunning Ali (even though I landed FAR more big clean shots. That annoys me, but it happens). However, the fact that I still couldn't win even a single judge in the remaining 2 rounds was atrocious. Online needs draws

I disagree....albeit only two fight...I have been outthrown 2:1; but have won every round....i land about 70% and they land about 40-45%.....i feel their connect could be even lower if I fought more defensively.

I'll probably destroy utexas in this manner today to prove my point.

I am uploading the Ali vs Tyson destruction right now. But being how long it is. It takes couple hours for it to render, then hour or so for youtube to upload it. So it is coming. Just a heads up guys

The demo is growing on me the more i play, i finally managed to KO Cotto in the 3rd with Manny (flash KO).

I'm still having some problems with the stick as i'm too used to FN4 and in fact i still think i had more control in FN4 and i throw punches that i don't want to in FNC, with having all the punches that close with little movement differences in the stick.

Checking my stats against Cotto in this fight, i see we are more or less equal in all kind of punches thrown (even same 99 to 99 jabs) but there is something that showed me fast how i'm not used to the new stick, i threw 73 right hooks!!!

I don't even know if stunning an opponent factors in to the judges decisions. In the last deciding round of a fight I out percentaged a guy 70%-45%, outlanded him by 15,and lost, maybe because he outcountered me 9-1.

The right cross (right straight) will turn into a right hook if you're not far enough away to fully extend the arm. It's not your input, it's your spacing.
