Pacman unloaded on me(Cotto) in the corner, & dropped me thru the ropes w/ a lunging bodyshot...craaazy To me, the punches are just TOO fast in this game & they definitely need to be toned down as well as the pace. Now over a 12rd match that just might happen, but as of now these 3rds as is... punches are thrown too fast imo.

I'm loving the demo, but the connect rate is ridiculous, even in fight now. If the connect rate isn't tweaked it could ruin the game for me.

The overrating of Ali is alive and well!
Ali is overrated mostly by his hook ratings (20 Right, 17 Left), but I've seen decisions where Tyson has gotten questionable favorable calls. This from an earlier post by me:

Interesting scoring sometimes. I lost a fight because they gave Tyson (my opponent) the first even though I outpunched him 35-23, and outpercetaged him 35-67 (52%)-23-91 (25%). I had the edge in power punches (non-jabs not power modified) 22-21.

No stuns in that round either.

I think what bothers me the most right now is that I can't seem to do any damage unless I keep the power-modifier down the entire time.
I've hit Ali with some great combo's and counter punches with regular shots and it was like Ali was being bothered by a mosquito.
It reminded me of playing a baseball game where if you don't press the Power Modifier you get nothing but singles. If you want extra base hits, you have to hold for power the entire game.

And holding it down doesn't seem to affect my stamina in the least. At least not my aerobic stamina. I didn't throw anything but power shots over 3 rounds and I don't think I saw my stamina drop below 95% once.

I hope I'm wrong about this. And I hope the final version allows massive slider edits to fix this.
If I'm wrong, please someone tell me where I can alleviate this.
But right now, Ali throws close to 200 punches a round and isn't affected in the least, and all of Tyson's regular punches seem to have zero affect on him.

Maybe it's simply a CPU boost to help make the game more difficult to win via decision?

Just curious, what would be reasoning behind the design decision to not allow draws online? To me, the possibility of a draw online just adds to the game.

Hmmm...I haven't noticed that. I threw a regular left jab, right cross combo with Tyson and it one punch KOed Ali, and I've landed several power modified punches that had impact but didn't stun or KO my opponent. Very rarely I've tried to use them too much and have felt the stamina drain, or seen my opponent use them too much and they slow to a crawl.
