Awesome. Another thought: options being the king of the video game upgrade world, if they do choose to incorporate expanded stats, would it be difficult to include an option as to which stats are overlayed in-game? Intuitively, it seems like a simple option to me that could please many and upset none. But I don't know if programming that would take too much work.

I agree with you. I can see both sides of the coin. But sometimes it seems that when franchise is overhauled, what will be the next thing on the list to say why you are skipping the following year's game for some?

Maybe I am just used to buying baseball games every year since Atari. And the fact that I get so involved with playing every game, I never have time for multiple years. I dunno. Tough nut to crack.

But the continue franchise feature is also super high on the wish-list for me for the community. I may not use it, but if it allows others to enjoy all the new gameplay features without sacrificing their investment in their franchise, then heck yes.

I hope it us considered in the franchise re-boot Kolbe wants to do. Since if it is taken into considering and built around it, it could be very beneficial. RttS as well.

I hear that the Franchise mode's trade/free agency logic has been changed, will these changes be ported to RTTS?

After playing 8 seasons in RTTS and (attribute wise) becoming one of the best players in the game, I had no intention of re-signing with the White Sox (who traded for me from Toronto) and I was waiting for the Phillies/Red Sox/Yankee offer of 18 to 20 million a year and nothing came. So I had to go to Yankee Spring Training.....will that NOT happen again? Thanx in advance....

Good. So does this mean the amount of all-star level pitching will be reduced? It seemed like every team had 4 great pitchers and then the FA list was full of studs.

That will be remedied with the player vault...less A and B rated pitchers in your rosters to start.
Last year...the base sets were LOADED with A/B pitchers.
