Another thing I noticed was that on opening day at Angels Stadium in 2011, there were blue shapes on both sides of the diamond in front of both dugouts. It was almost like an L shape. They were pretty big too. Has that been brought up before? I also experienced a lot of weird things like the count was 2-2 and I fouled it off and all of a sudden the count was 3-2 and the announcer even said the count is now 3-2 and I got strange errors back to back on routine ground balls and the umps strike zone was all of a sudden all over the place. Been addressed or brought up before?
They couldn't possibly put up a draft pick screen until after the off season ended anyway, since the order could change based upon the entire free agency period. For example, if Boston signs one of your type A players, you would get their first rounder. But then they sign another type A, you might get their second rounder instead. What I usually do when I start another season is to sim ahead to the draft and find out what picks I get in both the first round and the sandwich picks. Not ideal, but it does work.

As to the blue L, I get this as well and have reported it. It seems that about half of the people get it and the other half don't. Know idea why it works that way. The downside is that it looks terrible, but the upside is that you only see it a couple of games a year (opening day, all star game, maybe playoffs but I can't remember for sure).

I'm new around here, but I'm sure you never get tired of hearing praises.

In line with this great news regarding Franchise mode, is there plans to rework the Retirement platform as well? I still see 35 year-old free agents coming off All Star seasons, sign a 4 year contract, and then retire the following year, even after another impressive season.

And hearing that only 10% of the Franchise checklist will get squeezed into 2011, can we then expect that the whole 90% remaining will get into 2012?

Thanks
I'm thinking now I might skip 11 and wait until 12.

I will probably do the same. I just think that with 12 being the "franchise" year, I will be content with 10 until 11 drops. I will still support SCEA and purchase their game, but will give it to my cousin as a birthday gift (its march 9th ). This team listens and owe them that much.

Can't wait until 12 drops now lol. Thank you knight and co. for all the info you have provided and the SCEA team for ALWAYS putting out a quality product.

Didn't Ramone say that the budget logic was also re-written? Knight you probably know more than I do, but I thought I remember him saying that it was.

I seriously don't understand the "I'll wait until " posts. The amount of upgrades (even some touched up logic in franchise) is staggering when you compare to other games.

I've never heard these comments in other game threads outside of sports. Some games people go gaga over when it's the same cookie cutter, minimal upgrade game.
Yet here we get a tone of pretty nice upgrades and we see "I'll pass this year" stuff..??..??
