Again dont tell us we cant "pee" on this game when we have been burnt so many times in the past.
I'd suggest you try urinating on things you actually know. If the game released without errors again, heck yes we should complain. But using what happened in last year's game just to drive a negative narrative to this year's release is pretty close to trolling.

I think the concerns about how Dynamic Player Ratings will be implemented in franchise is fair. Calling it a band-aid or poorly implemented is just taking time to post negative stuff about something we don't know.

Considering just how realistic most of the 2K baseball supporters are in terms of what was wrong with last year's game, and previous releases, there is not the need for members of the SCEA Community Day folks to drive this negative narrative to warn gamers of potential problems.

WE have been pointing out what needs to be fixed, what we hope will be fixed and what we doubt will be fixed. For all of the folks that can't wait to call this game out for being a turd, could you just wait until it releases and complain about what is actually wrong with the game? There are so many other things you can do with your time than spend so much of your time complaining about a game you don't think is going to be worth buying.

There are a ridiculous amount of sports games coming out in March. Find one you like, and follow it.

The more I think about Dynamic Rosters the more I think the impact will be felt mostly with rookies or other players with dramatically different seasons than their "norm". This is a good thing imo, players having a big swing year will reflect it in gameplay.

It is hard to see though how a veteran that goes on a hot streak for a game or a week or two (or a slump) would really see a ratings impact. I would hope that kind of thing would already be built into the gameplay.

I guess we'll see. Still remaining positive that this will be a good effort by 2k this year.

One of the weakest fact sheet I've ever read nowadays, which is not a bad thing at all if they intend to complete an unfinished product for the past two years. I really really wish they overhauled the total control batting and pitching. Pitching must be challenging, hitting must allow to recreate the pitcher batter duel we see in real life, foul balls and high counts, without defensive swings to do beforehand.

There are some people that are trying really hard to pee on this game for no good reason. There is nothing even to be concerned about. You are having to really speculate in order to view this issue in a negative light.

You said you were no longer going to post here. What gives?
You always feel the need to target my posts, and my posts only with such personal tripe. When there are others who share in the same concern.

Why because I went to community day for The Show?

Seriously, grow up. You do not make this community any better attacking ones who show genuine and legitimate concern. 2K does not want people questioning, then they need to prove themselves. Especially at $60 year in and year out holding an exclusive license. Only they are going to change peoples opinions, not the self appointed forum police.

I do not need to explain myself, but you do need to leave me alone. Thanks.

As for the topic, I do not see a "band aide" as an improvement, especially in a game that is supposed to be a video game simulation of the actual sport. Let's just hope there underlies a sim engine with proper progression/regression throughout a franchise based on what is going on in the video game.

I've pointed out numerous times that showing concern for issues in the 2K games is not a problem. But you exist in this thread purely to be the voice of concern for for the disgruntled masses. That is trolling.

It was not surprising that when a list of features came out, you found one that was "concerning" to you so that you could try to steer the narrative in a negative way. It's what you do, what you have been doing, and what I, (and a couple of others who have PM'd me) tire of.

If you acted the same way in the SCEA forums, it would come off as legitimate game analysis. But instead, you take the roll of cheerleader, taking people to task for any negative views they might have about the direction of The Show.

Apparently you do not actually read the forums here, becasue I, as well as everyone else that view MLB 2K10 as a good game, have posted a constantly about what is wrong with the game, and what needs to be fixed. Trying to pretend that this is a forum of rah-rah cheerleaders is disingenuous, at best.

If this game had The Shows graphics I won't lie it would probably be a lot better than The Show

Re: MLB 2K11 Game Features (360, PS3, Wii, PS2, PSP, DS, PC)

The back and forth stops, guys. It doesn't matter if someone went to CD for another game...it has no bearing on what happens here.

Point: Progression based on real life will be kinda cool for people who want it...it would end frustration of the game considering a player who's on pace to hit 30hr IRL, rated a 6hr for power in the game. We used to have to wait til next year- we'd be playing with last years attributes and this year's roster.

Point: If a guy in the game is 2-11 6.54 ERA it'll be weird to see him rated 96over

Point: The feature list says nothing about off-season/in-season progression independent of this real time feature.

Point: Just because people also play the Show does not mean that they are not interested in 2 baseball titles, I know I am. I enjoy variety.

Conclusion: It's reasonable for some people to wonder out loud if this was how they tried to fix progression manually, instead of reprogramming sim AI/logic.

Who posts what is really of no consequence. MLB 2K10 was close...we're all hoping 2k11 is closer. Who doesn't want more good games on the market?

So STOP ATTACKING other posters..this goes both ways. Thank you.
