My goodness I'm pumped for this game. The devs. continue to innovate every single year. Absolutely incredible. This year will be a huge leap (even moreso from 08 to 09). March 8th can't get here fast enough (earlier for some lucky ones )

Yeah, I asked Ramone if the rain would look the same all the time and he said that it would vary based on the time of day and stadium. So the one I'm uploading is from Kauffman stadium and it looks dreary gray. We should of progressed inning by inning to see how it affected the look had I thought about it.

Excellent detail right here.

Thanks again for all your contributions dmb.

On a completely unrelated note, I still just love this picture...this game really is beautiful:

I'm so freaking excited for this new hitting system. It is EXACTLY what I've been wanting for years now.

Hopefully balks can be toggled, because if this slows down how quickly a pitcher can deliver to the plate and slows the game down, is it really useful for how often you actually see balks in real baseball?

Also, I'm not entirely sure why people seem so excited about being able to call time and step out of the box. Aside from realism, what is the practical purpose of this that really needs to be added? As it stands now the batter already backs out between pitches, etc... Would anyone actually use the option to call time and back out of the box (aside from the first few times for the novelty of it), and if so, why?

Agreed. The NCAA game had my favourite hitting system in a video game and this just seems to be a better version of it.

If it happens in real baseball, than I want it in the game. Period.

It's remarkable, the number of features being added this year. Eye-popping.

"Aside from realism" as stated above...exactly the point of my enthusiasm. Realism.
