I have been wanting an almanac of some sort. That way you could see how you have done with everybody around the majors.

Yes, I think different manager styles of play and managing would add dynamic play to different games and teams BUT the most crucial feature should be some sort of Historical Stats and Records keeping of your Franchise play throughout the seasons. Otherwise, what fun is playing seasons in a franchise if you cannot look back on the History you've created??

Baseball is about stats more than any other sport, so there should be Historical Data gathering in my opinion


I'd also love to see more of a playoff atmosphere in regards to presentation and focusing on how the teams got there, their strengths, keys to success, etc, etc. There's not enough seperation in the feel of a playoff game versus a regular season game.

Question I've thought of before but never asked.

Would it be possible for our current-generation of consoles to support in-franchise-roster-updates? I love the ability put in place to manually make/override trades for every team, but it would be great if there was the ability to have roster updates incorporated into an existing franchise.

I know this isn't a breakthrough idea so I'm sure it's been discussed before but I'm just wondering is it even possible with the current technology?
