Sorry, but these are some terrible suggestions. Why would you want to pick a powerhouse to do a dynasty with? It's so much better to do one with a terrible team to make them great. What's the challenge with Miami? To see if Lebron's ego can fit through the door?

what about the KC Chiefs or Stl Rams? Both teams have been miserable for several years...now loaded with some good young talent.

FIFA - dead on

NBA - Orlando Magic: anybody with Dwight Howard these next 5 years is easily gonna be a title contender AS LONG AS he keeps working in the off season with argueably the most talented b-ball player ever, Hakeem Olajuwon.

NHL - dead on

NFL - Detroit Lions: A young QB with a rocket arm. A shifty/speedy RB (always fun in video games), Megatron and, soon to be, the best defensive lineman in football. Solid foundation if you ask me. During your dynasty, just draft a good secondary and you are golden for 8 years or so.

MLB - San Fransico Giants: This is pick based solely on the fact that i like pitching in baseball games. Lincecum, Cain, Sanchez and Bumgarner. Nuff said

Nice article! I know for MLB I always use the Phillies. Since I watch every game of the season, and The Show gives me such a realistic representation of my team its hard to turn that down. For NCAA Football, I like using a middle of the road Big Ten school like Michigan State and then advancing my career to other places. Someone said the Magic are a great team to do an NBA Dynasty with, I completely agree,

I'm not a fan of using top tier teams that are already established. I like picking middle of the road teams in NCAA, and cellar dwellers in the pro games where a salary cap is in force.

Decent picks though if you're looking for immediate success that sticks for a while.
