The Top Five Teams to Start a Franchise With in Sports Gaming

Before we start, I'd like to clarify that the criterion for rating these teams is based upon the probability of success over the next seven years. Despite the fact that the New York Yankees, Detroit Red Wings and Los Angeles Lakers are great teams, they are relatively old and therefore will not be included in this list. I'm also including only one team per sport.

1. FC Barcelona (FIFA) - La Liga's best side is littered with young talent all over the pitch. Not only is this one of the most fun teams to play with in any soccer video game, the team is more than willing financially speaking to upgrade any problems that may arise. Lionel Messi is the finest soccer player on the planet and is somehow only 23 years old. FC Barcelona also has two of the best midfielders in the world in Xavi and World Cup hero Andres Iniesta. Add in David Villa and a stable back end, and you have got yourself a dynasty at your fingertips. Although, I must say, the squad would look even better if Samuel Eto'o was still around.

You're giving away my secrets with the 'other candidates' section for #4 with the Falcons. GREAT young quarterback, top tier receiver, power back that always pushes for extra yards, then on defense a very, very good secondary, stud in the middle with Lofton and a solid d-line. I immediately go in and start planning to add depth at defensive end and tight end. From there, it's pretty fun as the foundation is already solid.

NBA this year hands down LA Clippers. This is a young team with tons of talent. beside Baron Davis getting hurt ocassionaly you have Eric Bledsoe on the bench who if you get his jumper down pack is deadly from outside. Aminu, Kaman, Jordan, and Butler. This team is racked and i didnt even mention Eric Gordan and the new PF powerhouse Blake Griffin.

One of the best teams to rebuild also is the Jets. They have a great offensive line, a suffocating defennse and a decent quarterback. Along with 2 great HBs.

My Clippers franchise has been a lot of fun. Currently 18-18, but hoping for a solid draft pick. If I can put a play-making SF with Baron/Gordon/Griffin/Kaman with Bledsoe/Aminu/Jordan coming off the bench. Its a solid base to build on.
