NBA 2K11 Patch v1.2 Available Now, Post Impressions Here

I'm sorry I haven't read the entire thread but perhaps you guys can help me make a decision. I bought 2k11 on launch for the ps3 and ended up trading it for Black Ops because 2k11 was just freezing too much and I was too impatient for the patch to come out.

Now that the patch is out is it worth getting now or should I wait until the inevitable 2nd patch? Also, I just play association mode so if that works great then I will be a happy man.

I have fat 60GB PS3 and the only time the game has ever frozen is when I quit Association to the Main Menu. It happened occasionally before the patch and it still happens occasionally.

If the game froze more than that for you, it might be the disc, your system, the type of PS3, the stuff you have on the HDD, or something else.

But, yeah, that only happens to me occasionally. And is the only way it has ever happened. No big deal truthfully. I don't ever quit Association.

Well my 360 copy has started freezing...so freaking yay for me I guess... Guess I should go through the whole clearing my cache etc.

I think this Game is fantastic. Without a doubt the best Sportgame i have ever played. And it is so deep and there a so much little things to discover. Brilliant Game.

I think this might have been answered elsewhere, but is there a fix for the free throw shooting post-patch? Real FT% doesn't seem to work well at all.

My fix was to shoot around 200 FT's in practice mode to get used to shot stick timing. I'm shooting about 80 percent now.

Yeah I don't wanna do shot stick timing though because I know I'd end up shooting like 80% with someone like Blake Griffin that's actually a 50-60% FT shooter.
