NBA Jam Release Date, 11/17 - 49.99 - Title Update in December (360, PS3)

I wonder if they can update rosters since the PS3/360 versions have online compatibility ???

I'd be shocked if this game didn't drop to $29.99 at some point before the holidays.

That's the counter-point you're going to roll with? Really? Guess what, the market has changed. As shocking as it is to believe, SNES era games have depreciated in value. NES games cost $40-$50 back in the day to. So if Capcom priced Mega Man 10 at $50, you would find that a fair price? Now, I understand that this version is significantly improved from the original NBA Jam, but I still don't feel that it's near worth $50. But I'm not going to whine about it, I'm just simply going to vote with my wallet and not buy it.

This is a full game, featuring online play and MULTIPLE modes, one of which (Remix Tour) is confirmed to take a good 30 hrs to complete... This is every bit as feature filled as just about every other game on the market, especially when considering the replay value that online play offers. How is this a ripoff?

Because a Jam game was supposed to be bundled in with Elite... disregard that it wasn't as fully featured as the disc release is. It's all an EA cash grab!

No one cared about it being $50 on the Wii lol. Now it gets everything and more on the Wii and no one bothers to pay attention to the fact it now has all the modes which they eventually would have charged you money to get anyway. But no EA is money hungry. If anyone should coplain it's people who bought this on the Wii. All they get is a fancy control scheme if they even get that. Hell, it's still cheaper than a normal game.

Im getting this and I see no problem with it being $50. I wonder if another company not named EA did this would the same people be complaining? Yeah it was gonna be free and Elite isnt coming out and the people wanted NBA Jam so EA put MORE features into the game then the "free" version and they make it cheaper then the norm for games and people complain?

Because it's NBA Jam. Because despite the fact that it has some extra features that it didn't have 15 years ago, it is still essentially an SNES games.
