When I know I need or want to pull off a isomotion I press the LT a little before I make the move. Same with lay-ups and dunk, when I slash I see a defender I press LT quickly so I can spin away from him with a lay-up or euro-step.

How do you do the up/unders when your back is not turned to the rim or you're not posting someone up? I played this guy who was so good at them, he could pumpfake then do a spin, and all this other crazy stuff. How are those executed?

Well, to do up/under facing the rim, you hold LT and tap the RS towards to basket to perform the fake, then right afterwards, hold the RS towards to basket to attempt the shot/layup. The move i'm imagining you're talking about regarding the guy is when you're posting up with a live dribble, you initiate a pump fake, then hold RT and tap Y, which will make your post player do a clean spin move after the pump fake, which then he probably used the up/under technique mentioned above.

Yea, no, I know how to do all the postup moves with the back to the basket, but it was like a spin while he wasn't posting up, but right after one of the pumpfakes. I have a funny feeling though the method you just described was how he did it. I will experiment when I can after getting home. Thanks!

Quick question here guys.

I was playing with the different controls today (default, A, B) and noticed that I couldnt seem to figure how to do a hopstep (either a step back or spin toward the basket) with the Alt-A controls. I know how to do them with the default controls, but is it also possible with Alt-A as well?

@kaddyshack i think u are referring to the "flick-flick" moves. Hold L2 then tap the right stick once then tap & hold a second time in any direction to pull off the moves. U can do all types of up and unders. this has opened up a whole new world of moves for me. This game is so deep, i love it!
