Sorry, I haven't used the right stick for isomotion, so I can't really help with that. What I can do is provide some motivation and moral support. I suspect you'll get better at it with practice. That sort of defeatist attitude has no place on the court, time for you to put in work. I will coach you up if I need to, you don't do as I say, you run laps. Got it? DO YOU HAVE ...IT!?!?!?!?

Then you have never looked carefully enough. It is in the tutorial in the "freestyle" practice game mode, and is called Up and Under/Stepthrough.

Right stick for iso is pretty limited. (unless I am missing something.)

I was hoping to use it too, coming over from Live 10, but eventually I bit the bullet and went back to the default isomotion.

Feels like they spent all their time refining the default settings and just threw in the alt settings as an afterthought. *Happy to be proven wrong though.

It's worth the effort of getting used to the default iso in my opinion.

For a crossover you need to be moving.

Otherwise you'll do one of these.

From standing dribble: Size up move Left/Right

From standing no dribble: jab steps, triple threat stuff.

Hope that helps.

What you are looking for is probably the Drop step or Step through moves.

As you are backing them down pull RT (or R2) and push the left stick towards the paint or towards the base line.

Then finish with a dunk or whatever. Don't go baseline unless you are pretty high up in the post as you'll usually end up going behind the backboard.

Took me a while to find those moves too.

Gonna try 'em with Ewing tonight, see if they got his signature moves down.

i dont have a defeatist attitude. i just said i cant get used to the LS. i can do most of the moves, but to me its not very fluid. again, just for me i guess.

yeah, it would be nice to do the same movements on the r-stick. just seems like when i want to do a move, i pull it off, but something just seems off to me.

i have a question about isomotion, do you have to press the LT and LS simultaneously, or hold LT a little bit before you move the LS?
