I *think* that the flick-flick moves that everyone talks about are just the "up and under" moves that you perform with the right stick ANYWHERE on the court. I use the term "up and under" since that's what 2K calls it in their tutorial in the freestyle practice gym.

EDIT:

Ok, as far as the Kobe spin pivot move goes, I have been having success flicking right stick backwards, then flicking right stick towards the paint. So on 2K camera, if Kobe is on the right hand side of the court, flick down then left. If on the left hand side of the court, flick down then right. Please correct me if I'm wrong or propose a more sure fire method to do it

EDIT2:

Ok, it looks like it doesn't matter which direction the second flick is. As long as you do the first flick backwards (or away from the basket), you will do some sort of spin pivot move. Sometimes it's that jumper that Kobe did in real life vs the Knicks. Sometimes if you're closer to the rim, you do some scoop shot off the pivot.

Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: NBA 2K11 Isomotion/Shot Stick Help (360)

Practice makes perfect in my humble opinion when it comes to Iso. I have never played a 2K game before this one and played Live10 religiously all last season, but upon booting 2K11 up I made a conceited effort to play and learn using the ShotStick controls.

After playing through the first section of practice mode about the only move I couldn't pull off was the half spin move ala Kobe Bryant, but even still without it I have made my play so much better and it is making playing the Jordan Challenge mode a lot less frustrating.

My advice to dude up above is simply practice, practice, practice. This game ain't no NBA Jam!
