THQ announces details of extensive DLC purchase program for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011.

The downloadable content package will be included as part of the Fan Axxess program, as well as sold separately for the anticipated cost of 560 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE or $6.99 on PlayStation Network. The second downloadable content package for Fan Axxess, currently scheduled for release in early 2011, will include alternate ring gear for WWE Superstars John Cena(R), Undertaker(R) and CM Punk(R), as well as a playable WCW(R) arena. Just bought it, easy sell for me with the details being released today. Granted only a $2 savings over retail, but still worth it since I'd get the second DLC for the WCW ring alone.

Great value. I'm getting this as soon as I get home tonight from work. Just pre-ordered it from Best Buy so I'll have the Hitman and all other goodies now at a low price. I hope other games that want to offer downloadable content will follow this lead and give those of us willing to get in early a better deal.

Sweet now we finally we a WCW ring now after years if fans asking for it since WWE bought WCW back in 2000. Nice price for the DLC. This is going to be the best svr ever.

Are there any advantages to buying the DLC now as opposed to after the game comes out or no?
