best way to learn, in practice mode, whatever ball the hand is in, do the motion for the cross, when the ball hits the floor flick it back.

for the in and out, do the whole ( <- -> ) motion before the ball leaves the ball hand.

Okay guys I'm new to 2K, and having some beginner troubles:

1) I can seem to dunk the basketball, I got an open lane and the player always lays the ball up. Is there a seperate button for dunks.

2) Any tips on quick crossovers and dribbles?

Thanks for answering the noob question

To dunk, hold the RT or R2 depending on the system... It's in the instruction manual... Different direction on the right stick, if you use that to shoot/dunk/layup will do different types of dunks/layups...

As far as crossovers go... do it smooth and in rhythem... Take your time, otherwise he wont pull the move off...

The Controls for the game is so wired idk if its just me but its terribal to play the game.

I Change the dribble control to Right stick. Because im a Right handed user.

But When i changed it, its still has the dribble moves on the Left sick.

And its so hard to get by my opponent because, my left thumb is not as strong as my right.

Is Anyone having this problem if so PLEASE HELP ME OUT

You know a left-right hand study released a few years ago. And they say the whole thing is total BS. You just need to teach yourself. And you can use your weak hand...

lol....just kidding...

Just do the moves SLOWLY... The only moves you dont do slow are the in and out, which is the double cross only faster... and the half spin, which you do slowly, but not as slow as the every other move...

And the behind the back is as simple as twisting the stick behind the players back from ball hand to non ball hand minus the turbo...

Don't tap the trigger like we did in previous 2k games... What I found was, that tapping the trigger initiates the hesitation... Holding (While moving) and switching directions activates the regular cross over...

The best way to pull off moves, is to go into the size up, and then shoot out of it in what ever direction you wanna go to... I like coming out of the size up, going to one direction, and zooming back to another... Breaks ankles and hurts feelings...
